2. Data we process
The photo you choose: it stays on your device until you tap “Create portrait”. Then it is sent over an encrypted connection to our server (Google Cloud Run, EU) and, from there, processed by OpenAI (image model, main provider) or, if OpenAI is unavailable, by Google (Gemini API) to generate your portrait. We do not store your photo or the result on our server; the generated portrait is returned to your device.
Your creations: saved only in the app's private storage on your device, or in your gallery if you choose to save them.
Anonymous account: Firebase Authentication creates an anonymous user ID (no name, email or phone). It protects the service from abuse.
Usage counters (Google Cloud Firestore, EU): portrait credits, number of portraits per day, ad-reward confirmations and request IDs, linked to the anonymous ID. They are deleted automatically no later than 30 days after your last use.
Free preview: your first portrait is a free preview with a visible watermark, added on your device. We only store, in the usage counters, whether you have used it. After that, each portrait needs one rewarded ad (up to 3 a day) or Premium; high quality and portraits without watermark are only for Premium subscribers.
Safety identifier: a one-way hash of the anonymous ID is sent to OpenAI so it can detect abuse without knowing who you are.
Advertising: free users see ads from Google AdMob. AdMob may use the advertising ID, IP address and device data, according to the consent you give in the consent form (Google UMP). Reward confirmations are verified server-to-server.
Subscriptions: Premium is paid through Google Play. RevenueCat receives the anonymous ID, the purchase identifier and technical device data to manage and verify the subscription. We never see your card details.
3. Confirmation and acceptable use
Before the first portrait you confirm that you are 18 or older and the photo is yours or you have permission from the person in it. Do not upload photos of minors, intimate images or photos of people without their consent. Content that breaks the providers' policies is blocked.
4. Purpose and legal basis (GDPR)
Generating the portraits you request: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
Abuse prevention, daily limits and security: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Personalised ads: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can change in Profile → Ad privacy options.
Subscriptions and billing: contract and legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c)).
5. Third parties
OpenAI (image generation): Privacy Policy. Under OpenAI's API terms, data sent through the API is not used to train models and may be kept up to 30 days for abuse monitoring.
Google (Gemini API, Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Run, AdMob, Google Play, In-App Review): Google Privacy Policy. Paid Gemini API data is not used to improve Google products and is kept only for a limited time for abuse monitoring.
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under GDPR safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). We do not sell your data.
6. Retention
Photos and results: not stored on our server; kept by OpenAI or Google only as described above. Usage counters: up to 30 days after your last use. Creations on your device: until you delete them or uninstall the app. Subscription records: as required by law and by Google Play and RevenueCat.
7. How to delete your data
Delete creations in the app (Creations → select → Delete) and remove your photo in “My photo”. Uninstalling the app deletes all local data and the anonymous account on the device; server counters then expire within 30 days. You can also ask us to delete them sooner, or to delete subscription records at RevenueCat, by writing to manuelfonsi999@gmail.com. Subscriptions are cancelled in Google Play → Subscriptions.
8. Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability by writing to manuelfonsi999@gmail.com. You may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
9. Minors
AI Model is only for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly process data of minors.
10. Changes
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version here with its date.
